We’re excited to share some paws-itively amazing news — Pepper, The Aylesford School Dog, is going to feature in a special edition of Top Trumps!

This unique edition celebrates the brilliant dogs across our school community, and Pepper is proudly representing Aylesford. These cards don’t just showcase our four-legged friend’s lovable personality — they’re also a fantastic resource for Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI). Whether in the classroom or therapeutic settings, the cards help to spark conversations, support introductions, and encourage student engagement.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Mrs Simpson and Mr Reckless, Pepper has been making wonderful progress. As part of this initiative, some of our students are even on track to earn an AQA Award in “Exercising and Caring for a Dog”, a testament to the powerful impact of Pepper’s presence in school life.
